(Sports Seoul | Reporter Park Yeon -jun) SSG outfielder Choi Sang -min (26) decided to retire.
SSG explained on the 19th, “I recently conveyed my intention to finish my career with the club and seek a new career.
“The club respected the player’s will after sufficient discussion and applied for the cancellation to the KBO. I cheer for his future.”
Choi Sang -min joined SK (now SSG) as a fostering player in 2018. He immediately fulfilled his military service and debuted in the first team in 2022.
This season, he scored 23 games and batting 0.143 by April. The professional record recorded 0.179 batting average in 144 games in four seasons.
