The possibility of the league games every three days

The secretary of the Iranian Football League said that because we are in the year leading up to the World Cup, the league games may be held intensively.

Mohammad Reza Keshouri Fred, about changing the start of the 21st Premier League season, said: “In order for teams with ideal conditions to participate in the Premier League, they need at least five to six weeks of training, so the league starts changed.” The reason for choosing August 27 to start the league in addition to preparing the teams, was also returned to the national football team in the Kafa tournament. The Kafa tournament begins on September 7, and the teams are likely to go on vacation after three weeks of league matches.

He added: “Our clubs should consider that we are in difficult conditions in the World Cup year because in addition to league matches, we will have the national team games in Kafa, FIFA, the Asian Elite League, the AFC Champions League 2 and the FA Cup.” Meanwhile, the national team camp starts 20 days before the World Cup starts and we have to finish the league until then. For this reason, teams may play every four days and even three days.

“Given that we had announced the start of the transfer to FIFA, this will not change,” said the secretary of the League. Clubs have at least 52 days to do their transfer.

Also, Amir Hossein Roshanak, head of the Premier League, said in an interview with the League’s website about the start of the new season of the country’s football competition: Given the conditions and changes that were inevitably made in the Premier League preparation program, after the necessary reviews and the difficulties of the World Cup. Let’s start the 25th Premier League season with a two -week postponement.

The Premier League official said: “Obviously, with these inevitable postponement, the league will be accompanied by complications during the season, and in most weeks between the four or five days and even in specific cases up to three days (72 hours), we will be able to do so.

Regarding other programs and measures for the coming season, Roshanak said: “Given the numerous and pathological meetings we had in the league in the previous seasons, especially the previous season, we came to the conclusion that by changing, modifying and formulating some of the qualifications in the laws and bylaws.

He continued: “Therefore, in coordination with the various sections of the Football Federation and the League Organization, we are modifying some of the provisions of the Code of Competitions as well as the formulation of media guidelines for organizing media spaces related to the holding of the media, including news conferences and mixes.
