International Sports Society Society held 2025 conferences in Seoul on August 11
The 2025 International Sports Sociology Conference will be held at Seoul National University on August 11th.
Seo Hee -jin (Konkuk University) and Lee Jung -rae (Kyungpook National University), co -chairman of the International Sports Sociology Conference Organizing Committee, said, “This conference will be held in line with the 60th anniversary of the International Sports Society (ISSA). It was revealed.
About 400 sports sociologists from 40 countries participate in this conference, co -hosted with the International Sports Society. In particular, at the conference, discussions on the impact of social changes on sports, such as institutionalization of academic, major characters and theories, globalization and technology development, on sports. In addition, social inequality, sustainability, and sports role in public policy related to social justice are discussed.
Dominique Malcolm Rough Burger University, a professor of Roughburder University, will take a look at the history of sports sociology for the past 60 years through a keynote speech entitled ‘Sociology of Sports: Post Truth from Evaluation to Post Truth’.
In the Panchi session, Professor York University of Parisa Sapi Canada (President of the International Sports Society Society) will hold a debate on sustainability in sports sociology, communication, mobility, and climate behavior.
Panel Session 2, led by Professor Ko Eun -ha, re -examines the authority of sports and gender mechanics, and the panel Session 3, which is in charge of Alan Bearer, Roughburder University, will be discussed under the theme of ‘Reconstruction of Sports Sociology: Desis Centralization and (Western) Hegemony’.
In addition, Steve Jackson New Zealand New Zealand Professor, Tak Min -hyuk, Professor of Roughburder University, Koji Kobayashi, Japan Otaru Award, and Kim Yun -jin, professor of Burmingham University, will participate as presenter of graduate students’ workshops and sessions.
