Announcement of the Japanese men’s cricket team members to participate in the Sri Lanka expedition



The Japan Men’s Team Selection CommitteeWe have decided to have 18 men’s Japanese national team members who will be participating in the Sri Lanka expedition starting at the end of July.
This time, the Japanese men’s national team will travel to Sri Lanka as part of their preparations for the final World Cup qualifying round to be held in Oman from October.
The match will be held in 10 days with Sri Lanka’s selected cricket programme teams in Colombo city and nearby stadiums.
Esam Rahman was selected for the first time as a member, but Rahman was unable to participate in the Japan Premier League in May, so this expedition will be the venue for selection for the national team.
Dougle Beddingfield will be head coach and Duncan Harrison will be coach and manager. Devon Van Onselen, who has been appointed as strength and conditioning coach, will also be accompanying the team for the first time.
