The women’s volleyball team will participate in the 2025 Korea Invitay International Women’s Volleyball Competition in Jinju on December 12-17.

Korea Invitational is a competition hosted by the Korea Volleyball Association, and six countries, including Japan, Sweden, Argentina, Czech Republic, and France, will compete.

The women’s volleyball team was relegated by staying at the bottom with 1 win and 11 losses in the FIVB Volleyball Federation (VNL) this year. In 2026, you cannot participate in VNL. As I was concerned, I had the worst results in the face of weakening international competitiveness.

With the need for fundamental improvement, the Volleyball Association held the Korea Invitational to add to the international experience of the players. Following last year’s men’s competition, this year, women athletes opened a chance.

In Japan, it is not the first group, but it is expected that the active players of the national team will participate to see the excellence of advanced volleyball. In addition, it will be a great help for the women’s volleyball team in that it can experience the level of Europe and South American players with good strength and height.
