The Korean men’s basketball team advanced to the 2025 FIBA Asian Cup quarter -finals.
The world’s 53rd Korea national team won 99-66 in the quarter-final match against Guam (88th) held in Jedda, Saudi Arabia on the 12th.
The three -point shot success rate (21%), which led the second place in the group stage (2 wins and 1 loss), was not high, but overwhelmed the opponents in various ways, including 62%(31), attacking attacks (19), and team help (27).
In the first quarter, 10 three-point shots attempted by the organic award and Lee Hyun-joong were not included in Guam, 17-18, one point, but took the lead from the second quarter. South Korea, which was ahead of the first half with 50-28, did not miss the victory and won the 33-point win.
Ahn Jun -ho, the team manager, changed the player’s use by selecting Yang Joon -seok and Yoo Sang -sang (Changwon LG), Lee Hyun -joong (Nagasaki, Japan), Lee Seung -hyun (Ulsan Hyundai Mobis), and Kim Jong -kyu (Anyang Jeonggwan). Lee Jung -hyun (Goyang Sono) could not be injured, and Yeo Jun -seok (US Seattle University) also considered a situation that was not 100% physically. The two players missed the last Lebanon.
The number worked. Moon Jung -hyun and Ha Yoon -ki (Suwon KT), who did not play much in the group stage, played in the quarter -finals. Moon Jung -hyun shone in the airborne with 18 goals, 8 splattering, and 5 intersections. Ha Yoon -ki scored 13 points and five splatters while keeping the goal underneath. Lee Hyun -joong (14 goals, 9 splashing balls, 2 assistive cycles) and organic statues (13 goals), who were at the forefront of Korea’s second place in Korea, also played active.
Korea meets China (30th) in the quarter -finals on the 14th. China is not easy to be a traditional player. Ahn has adjusted his participation in preparation for the Chinese War. Yeo Jun -seok also played in the fourth quarter and confirmed his condition. Yeo Jun -seok scored only four quarters and scored nine.
