Ahn Hyun -min (22, KT Whiz) was selected as the best player in the KBO League July monthly player (MVP).
KBO said on November 11, “Ahn Hyun -min has become a monthly MVP in five years and one month after Mel Lohas Jr. in June 2020, after two years after William Kuevas in August 2023.” Ahn Hyun -min scored 37.93 points with 24 votes (68.6%) out of 35 reporters votes and 32,578 votes (7.3%) out of 44,7304 votes. This is the first time Ahn Hyun -min has been selected as a monthly MVP.
Ahn Hyun -min stood as a Katie -centered hitter this season and hit 0.441 (second place in the league) in July. In addition, the batting average and on -base rate were 0.706 and 0.551, respectively. During his 21 games in July, he struck 30 hits and pulled an average of 1.43 hits per game. In addition, there were 14 RBIs with five home runs. Ahn Hyun -min, who is ranked No. 1 in the batting average (0.348), on -base rate (0.457), and long batting average (0.619) this season, is currently competing with LG Twins pitcher Song Seung -ki.
In July, MVP Ahn Hyun -min receives a prize of 3 million won and a trophy.
