The Korean Table Tennis Association’s Sports Fair Commission has a bitter aftertaste that ‘rebirth’ is disciplined to Yoo Seung -min, former chairman of the Korea Table Tennis Association (now Korea Sports Chairman) and former executive director Kim Taek -soo.
The two were asked by the Sports Ethics Center because they created an incentive system for supporting donations as executives of the Korea Table Tennis Association and that they actually paid 10%of the donations. Kim Taek -soo was asked to investigate.
Whether the Sports Ethics Center has initially denied the composition requirements itself, there is a need for a precise review of whether there is a legal problem or not. However, the act of successful success was a violation of the association’s articles of incorporation that ‘executives cannot be paid’.
The Korea Table Tennis Association Fair Commission also admitted that part. However, most of them were judged in the situation of Kim Taek -soo. Reasons for the disciplinary action of Kim Taek -soo, “breaking down the financial difficulties of the association”, “not seen as private interests”, “difficulty in the operation and management of incentive deliberation committees” and “Public Ping Pong Ping”.
It’s a linguistic word. But the opposite logic is also possible. If it was difficult to finance the association, it could be questioned why the incentives received by the executives would not be put into the association’s safe.
If an individual takes money, it is not private interests, what is it? It is also true that the proportion of incentive deliberation committee management responsibilities is heavy in the order of the chairman and executive. In addition, anyone admits that Kim Taek -soo has contributed to the table tennis Association, but he can be criticized as a formal requirement for disciplinary reduction.
It is well known that Chairman Yoo Seung -min played ‘sales power’ by running back to the Korean Table Tennis Association. He suggested that he could build a well -being association as the head of young sports Indian amateur sports organizations, not businessmen. If you attract more than 20% of the donations through the agency, you can also understand that you created your own power fund committee.
But there must be no flaw. In particular, if you create a system related to money such as funds, it should be strict. It is evidence that it was so easy to be pointed out by the Sports Ethics Center that it was not approved by the Minister of Culture and Culture. The executives are honorary positions, and the concept of volunteer jobs is also needed.
The Ministry of Culture and Industry took full measures to receive incentives for similar cases in the Korean Badminton Association’s office prosecutor last October. There is no saying that it has been returned this time.
The Table Tennis Association Fair Commission was a matter of police investigation, and was avoided with sensitive parts such as dignity. As a result, the decision was made, but it is not the knot of the case, but the only amplification of distrust.
