
Bae So -hyun (32) won the Korean Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) Tour Aurora World Ladies Championship (1 billion won).
Bae So -hyun was at the top of the final 19 under par 269 strokes, reducing five strokes with five birdies without a view in the fourth round of the last day of the tournament in Aurora Golf & Resort (par 72, 6509 yards) in Wonju -si, Gangwon -do on the 3rd. Seong Yu -jin and Go Ji -won (more than 18 under par 270 strokes) were beaten by other differences. The Aurora World Ladies Championship is a new tournament this year. The winning prize is 180 million won.
Bae So -hyun’s championship is only 11 months since the opening of the 13th KG Ladies in September last year. Bae So -hyun won his first win in his 154th tournament at the E1 Charity Open held in May last year. Since then, two more wins have become the co -king (3 wins). This year, there was no championship, but he won the tournament and won the opportunity to rebound.
Bae So -hyun, who was tied for second place in the third round until the third round, caught the 7th and 8th consecutive birdies and competed with Sung Yu -jin. In the 15th hole (par 4), he scored a birdie, and the difference from the second place was two strokes. After winning, Bae So -hyun said, “I am happy to win the first win of the season. I missed the short putt yesterday, so I could not make a mistake today.”
Bae So -hyun also handed out the Aurora World character doll into the gallery with the winning ceremony. The KLPGA Tour will finish the first half of this year after the tournament and start the second half of the year with the Masters of Jeju Samdasoo on the 7th. Jeju Samdasoo Masters also participates in the ‘defending champion’ Yoonna. Last season, he entered the US Women’s Professional Golf (LPGA) tour, and this season, he will participate in this season’s first KLPGA Tour.
