Hwang Sun -woo (22, Gangwon -do Office) won the 13th place (47 seconds 94) in the 2025 World Swimming Federation World Championship men’s freestyle 100m semi -finals held in Kalang, Singapore, on the 30th (Korea time). Hwang Sun -woo, who finished 100m on the 30th after the 200m freestyle on the 29th, finished the solo exhibition of the tournament with a no -medal.
Jack Alexi (USA) took the first place in the semi -final with a record of 46 seconds 81, and the 200m winner David Popovic (Romania) took second place (46 seconds 84). The 2024 Paris Olympic Freestyle 100m gold medalist Panzaner (China) was not in the final with 47 seconds 81 and 10th.
There is a chance to soothe the solo exhibition. Hwang Sun -woo will compete with Kim Woo -min, Lee Ho -jun and Kim Young -bum in Gyeyoung 800m on August 1.
Meanwhile, Diving Women’s 10m platform Moon Na -yun (28, Jeju Provincial Office) scored 280.00 points and secured a semi -final ticket with 14th place. The semi -finals will be held in the same place at 4:32 pm on the 31st. Go Hyun -joo (27, Jeju Island Office) was eliminated from the preliminary round with 28th (241.95 points).
In the mixed 3m synchro final, Lee Jae-kyung (26, Incheon Metropolitan City Hall) and Jung Da-yeon (27, Gwangju Sports Association) finished 14th with 228.72 points. North Korea’s Goje Won-Kim Mi-hwa ranked 6th with 267.63 points.
