
Jeon Hae-young (Seoul City Hall) of Korea Fencing Women’s Saber won the 2025 Line-Lou World University Competition (U Contest).
Jeon Ha -young collaborated with Choi Se -bin (Daejeon Metropolitan City Hall), Kim Jung -mi (Ansan City Hall), and Sun Eun -bi (Korea National University) in the women’s group exhibition held in Essen, Germany on the 23rd. Jeon Hae -young, who won the solo exhibition, won two gold medals and became the second second crown of Korean fencing after Park Sang -won (Daejeon Metropolitan City Hall).
Jeon Ha-young, the world’s second-largest, took the lead in defeating France to 45-43 in the team finals.
Korea finished the top overall ranking with five gold medals, one silver medal and three bronze medals in this U -tournament fencing.
Jeon Hae -young and Park Sang -won will participate in the World Fencing Championships, which will open in Georgia Tbilisi on the 26th.
