Central defender Kim Joo -sung of FC Seoul was selected as the winner of the ‘HS Hyosung The Class June Player Award’.
‘HS Hyosung The Class’s Player of the Month of the Month’ is an official monthly MVP award for FC Seoul, which selects the best players who have played the best performance through monthly fan votes. Three candidates in June were Kim Joo -sung (defender), Ryu Jae -moon (midfielder), and Duc (attacker), and Kim Joo -sung won the overwhelming choice of 51%of the total votes. As a result, Kim Joo -sung was the first award in the season and was honored as the second monthly MVP since joining.
Kim Joo -sung is showing a prominent growth as the team’s main center back this season. Based on hard physical and speed, the defensive line is leading to a stable defensive line and is considered a league’s top center back with a buildup ability. Kim Joo -sung, who participated in all four league games in June, effectively blocked the opponent’s attack with fast judgment and cover play, and served as the starting point for the transition with a stable pass after the ball. Thanks to these achievements, he also made a name in the 19th round.
