Bae Ji -hwan, again started again… ML re -challenge with ‘7 games 10 hits’
(Sports Seoul | Actor reporter) Injured and Second Relegation could not be defeated. Badge, who returned to a harder confidence and blow, fired a signal towards the major league (ML) re -entry in Triple A.
Bae Ji -hwan, a member of the Triple A Indianapolis Indians under the Pittsburgh Pirates, played as a right fielder in the home game against the Gwi Net Stripus held in Victory Field, Indiana on the 11th.
The record was a big hit with four at-bats, one hit, one RBI, and one steal, leading the team’s 3-0 victory.
The decisive scene of the game broke out at the end of the third round. In the second at -bat, Bae Ji -hwan won the 82.9 miles (about 133 km) curves of the opponent’s starter Hoston Waldb, and he ride one RBI to over the center field key.
After two companies, he stepped on the home and scored a wedge. The final hit was selected as one of the Gyeonggi -do players on that day.
Even in the first at -bat, fast feet shone. After on -base in the second baseman’s infield hit, he succeeded in the bold second base steal, bringing the attack to the attack. Season 12 steals are ranked second in the team.
In the game, Bae Ji -hwan has hit six consecutive games and has been batting 0.435 (23 at -bats 10 hits) for a week since the 5th. The season triple A batting average soared to 0.288. In particular, after the return of injury, the batting average reached 0.344 (32 at -bats 11 hits).
Bae Ji -hwan’s 2024 season was tough. He joined the major league opening roster with a good impression at Spring Camp, but he went down to minor in just two games, and was relegated again after only five games in the second callup in May. In addition, the injury overlapped and the power departure has been longer.
However, since the return, the concentration and base sense of the base have become more sharper. Pittsburgh is currently the lowest in the National League Central District, and there is no resource with a clear outfield power. If the badge maintains this trend, the possibility of additional callups in the first half may be a reality.
