Hamid Steele says his resignation from Persepolis had nothing to do with his future activity in another club.

Following rumors that Hamid Estilli was likely to be the new CEO of Rafsanjan’s Copper Club, he rejected the news in an interview, calling it merely a media rumor.

“My resignation from the Persepolis club had nothing to do with my next activity,” said Steele, who resigned from the Persepolis Technical Committee and criticized the club’s transfer process. “This decision was simply due to some structural problems and the wrong decision process at the club.”

“The news that has been published at the Rafsanjan Copper Club is not true, and at the moment I have no decision to accept management at another club,” he said.

Thus, speculation about the transfer of Steel to Rafsanjan’s copper ended and he has no decision to return to Iranian football.
