Let’s meet the K -League future leaders in advance. The 2025 K -League Youth Championship, which is full of youth athletes, will be held on the 11th and will be held at Cheonan Football Center in Chungcheongnam -do until next month. The Youth Championship is a tournament for all youth teams under the K -League team.
Many players went through this tournament. Last year, Yang Min -hyuk, who won the K -League 1 Young Player Award and transferred to Tottenham Hotspur, and Han Hyun -seo (Pohang Steelers) and Park Seung -soo (Suwon FC), who were considered as the K -League new star this season, also played in the competition.
The competition is divided into high school teams, middle school teams, and elementary teams.
The high school competition (U18 & 17 Championship) will be held from 12 to 24, with 25 teams in seven teams. After the group league, they go through the tournament to the final winner. The final is 7 o’clock on the 24th. The Secondary Tournament (U15 & 14 Championship) will be held on August 9-21, and 25 teams are divided into seven groups to go through the group leagues and tournaments. The finals are 7 pm on the 21st.
The high school and middle school competitions are broadcast live on the official YouTube channel of the K -League Youth from the tournament, and the finals will be broadcast live on TV through the Sky Sports channel.
The elementary competition (U12 & 11 Championship) will be held in Yeongdeok, Gyeongsangbuk -do on November 11-17. The U122 tournament will be participated in a total of 30 teams, including 26 K -League U12 teams and four teams of J -League invitations (Gamba Osaka, Kashima Antlers, Banforce Koh, and Toss). The U11 tournament will be held by 25 K -League teams to participate in the group stage. The two competitions do not have tournaments.
Recently, sports competitions have been in the heat waves, causing concerns. At the Korea Professional Football Federation, he said, “We will be considerate of the team by holding a night game and holding a cooling brake.”
