The Afghan Cricket Board on Tuesday, in a statement, announced the death of a prominent and experienced cricket referee Bismillah Shinwari.

The national referee, who has been in domestic and international games for many years, wore the world after a long fight against illness.

Bismillah Shinwari was one of the most prominent and influential figures in the Afghan cricket jury, who judged more than two one -day international games, 2 international games, 2 class games, 2 list games, and 2 domestic games.

In his statement, the Afghan Cricket Board expressed condolences to the Shinwari family and the sports community and described his death as a major and irreparable loss to the country’s cricket and praised his valuable services to the sport.

“Shinwari was one of those people who always had a smile, serving the people and doing good,” the cricket wrote.
