Recently, Ki Sung -yong, who was interested in ‘transfer issues’, officially joined Pohang Steelers. Ki Sung -yong expressed his impression of joining the Pohang team. Ki Sung -yong, who chose the number 40, said, “The season has passed since the season, but I will prepare for a game without regret. I will reward the fans’ expectations in Pohang.”
Ki Sung -yong joined Seoul in 2006 and started his professional life. Since 2009, he has been on the European stage and returned to the K -League in 2020 in Seoul. All 198 goals and 19 assists were recorded in Seoul. However, when Kim Ki -dong was excluded from Seoul’s power initiative, he formalized the team on the 25th of last month.
The Pohang team announced on the 3rd that Ki Sung -yong, “Ball ownership, long pass, and football intelligence, will be a great force to make our midfield more solid.” The club also said, “Ki Sung -yong will be a soccer mentor in Pohang’s young resources based on his abundant experience and leadership and will serve as a central axis of senior players.”
