
The 2025 KBO League exceeded 7 million spectators in the first half.
A total of 7,6723 spectators entered the matches in five stadiums, including Jamsil (2,448), resignation (2,661), Suwon (6787), Gwangju (18,27), and Daejeon (17,000 people, sold out). As a result, the KBO League exceeded 7 million spectators in 405 games (56.25%of the total season), with 7 million people (an average of 17,303 people). It was the first record in the first half after the launch of the professional in 1982, and the minimum 7 million crowds ever. The minimum 7 million spectators were 487 games last year.

This year’s professional baseball is showing an explosive hit. The number of spectators increased 17% compared to last year’s number of last year, with 196 sold out until this day. Hanwha Eagles, which moved to a new stadium (Daejeon Hanwha Life Ball Park), sold 35 times in 39 home games, and the crowd increased 48%from last year, while Samsung Lions (38%), Lotte Giants (26%), and SG Randers (23%) were also noticeable. The total income of 10 teams is currently recorded at 1169,165,2722 won. If the current trend continues, the number of spectators this year is 12458,000. It exceeded last year (1088,7705), which opened the age of 10 million spectators.
