Tiger Woods (US, 49) was appointed chairman of the US Professional Golf (PGA) Tour Future Competition Committee.
Fiji Tour announced on the 21st that it launched the Future Competition Committee (9 people) to create a new competitive system and appointed Woods to the chairman.
The committee includes six players, including Woods, Patrick Cantlelay (USA), Adam Scott (Australia), Camillo Nonye Gas (Colombia), Maverick McNilli (US), and Kiss Mitchell (USA). The other three members are Joe Godder Ballet Chairman of Energy, John Henry Fenway Sports Group founder, and Theo Epstein Fenway Sports Group adviser.
Brian Rollab Fiji Tour, chief executive officer, held a press conference at the Atlanta Etrake Golf Club in Georgia, USA, and said, “Fans will find the right product and secure appropriate partners. “The Future Competition Committee will gather the best players and increase the fan participation. We plan to start everything in a blank state.”
The local media explained that the joining of Epstein Advisors, which led various regulations such as pitch clock in the major leagues (MLB) suggests the direction of the Future Competition Committee. “Epstein has been thinking about competitive systems in various places,” he said.
Rolabsiao was a member of the US Pro Football (NFL) and joined the Fiji Tour in June. He was appointed as the next governor who was retired next year.
