K -League 1 Gwangju FC sent Ace Asani to Iran Estagral for $ 1 million (about 1.4 billion won).
An official from Gwangju FC said on the 19th that it signed Asani’s Estagral transfer documents late the afternoon.
Asani signed a contract with Estagral using the Boss Bay Regulations, which can negotiate free negotiations for less than six months of remaining contract. The news of the transfer was reported as Sergal’s official announcement without Gwangju and prior discussion.
Since then, Asani has been controversial, including the team’s training and not making a name on the 25th round of Pohang.
The transfer negotiation process was tough. When Esteglal proposed $ 400,000 in its initial $ 400,000, Gwangju demanded $ 800,000. Estegral offered a $ 600,000 payment, but Gwangju, who was concerned about local accounting credit, insisted on a $ 1 million lump sum.

In June, Gwangju was punished by 10 million won for sanctions and a one -year ban on recruiting athletes, but was suspended by 2027 due to the conditions of implementing the financial improvement plan.
Two days ahead of the transfer market deadline (20 days), Estagral eventually accepted Gwangju demand. After the ITC was issued, he also agreed to remittance the transfer fee within a week and the $ 2 million penalty.
A Gwangju official said, “It was hard to say that Asani and Estegal respected us, and I didn’t want to send it at a low price.”
Asani left Gwangju to Iran after saying goodbye this morning.
