The Japan Women’s National Team Selection Committee (Chairman: Vinai Ayer)The members of the Japanese women’s national team will be participating in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup EAP Qualifiers to be held in Fiji in early September.
In this tournament, eight teams will be divided into two groups to compete. Japan will join Group A along with Papua New Guinea (PNG), Samoa and the Philippines, while Group B will include Vanuatu, Indonesia, Fiji and the Cook Islands.
The World Cup qualifying round will begin on September 9th, but prior to that, two matches will be played against host Fiji in preparation for the tournament.
